Giving back is important to us

We believe everyone and every little thing can help.
We believe in the future and in the young generation.
A percentage of our proceeds will go to a charity that shares our values.
We are starting small but we hope we can grow together.

    Reduce

Each model is linked to a creative idea that makes sense and is here to stay. We decided to work with leather, a byproduct of the food industry but using chrome-free tanning methods, when possible, that have less impact on the environment.
By focusing our production in Portugal from the sole to the top of the shoe, we are also trying to reduce our carbon footprint and support the savoir-faire in the Porto region.

Our goal is not to inundate the market with hundreds of versions of the same model. Neutral colors are a staple. Limited editions will use unused quality stock and the addition of some more flashy colors that will allow you to make a bigger statement, will be of colors that can endure the test of time.

  • Repair

    Repair

"I remember my grandma repairing everything she could, from socks to bedsheets,... It seemed silly at the time, but I feel we've gone to the other extreme nowdays." Xuan.
Today, over 20 billion shoes are produced each year, 1/3 of which are sneakers... which are very difficult to recycle due to the mix of materials used to produce them. In the US only, around 200 millions pairs end up in landfills thus polluting the soils or the air if they are incinirated.

It is therefore crucial, before chosing to discard your dirty or damaged pairs of shoes, to try to extend their life by first taking care of them (see our Product Care page) or by trying to repair them.

As this is at the heart of we stand for, we are currently working on securing partners to help us in this task.

  • Recycle

    Recycle

It takes between 30 and 40 YEARS for a pair of shoe to decompose when it is thrown in landfills... Recycling sneakers is a hard task because of the mix of materials, but it is key.

All components of our shoes can be fully recycled and we are working at finding parters to help us making sure they are.
