The 33MB Story: A Journey of Resilient Design

Our history is defined by a refusal to settle for the conventional. What began with ambitious 3D printing experiments evolved through the technical trials of the Adhesion Challenge—the grueling process of bonding complex artistic forms with premium durability.

By bridging the idea born in Lisbon, with digital innovation and the ancestral savoir-faire of Porto, we turned every error into a breakthrough. This evolution is our commitment to craft, persistence, and the beauty of an upward trajectory.

The 3D Printing Experiment

We attempted to 3D print the "Zero Gravity" drops to create a sculptural effect. The result? Too bulky, too rigid, and lacked the "je-ne-sais-quoi" of artisanal luxury. It felt machine created.

The Adhesion Challenge

We experimented with high-tech liquid plastics to achieve the perfect drip.
We quickly learned that paint does not stick to plastic with the longevity a luxury sneaker requires. The drops cracked; the vision faded.

The Breakthrough

We realized that to achieve "Lightness," we had to return to the human hand. We moved away from synthetic shortcuts and toward Portuguese craftsmanship.

The Result

We discovered that the only way to make the "Zero Gravity" drops truly stay—and truly look like art—was a specialized printed process on premium Italian leathers.
By marrying high-end full-grain cowhide with an artisanal print technique, we finally achieved the impossible: a design that defies gravity, stays vibrant through years of wear, and remains as soft and breathable as the leather itself.
Today, every pair of 33MB sneakers—from the Dawn to the Nighty—is a finished chapter of that original pursuit. When you see the drops traveling upward from the sole, you are seeing a year of engineering, a decade of Portuguese tradition, and a lifelong belief in the power of Hope.
